Old but Wonderful News
Haley House Bakery Benefit Concert, Boston, MA

Tania and Silas
Before hitting the road for a cross country trip with friends from across the globe, Silas and a host of others did a benefit concert at the Haley House Catholic Worker Bakery. The Bakery graciously agreed to allow us to use the space which brought together the Noonday Singers, a group that sang South African and Civil Rights songs, many of which emerged from the struggle for freedom in South Africa before the fall of Apartheid.
The evening was filled with joy, laughter and moments of solemnity as voices and instruments were joined in celebration of freedom and community. Following the concert, Silas and friends headed west!

Starving Artist Benefit Concert
February 23, 2010 at the Starving Artist, Silas Beardslee and Corey Stein played a show to raise money for The Rimbi Farm Project. The evening drew in around 50 audience members whose active participation came in the form of great questions and interest. A huge Thank-You goes to the Starving Artist Collective and all those who braved the severe New Hampshire weather in order to show support!
